Amen."

Nice picture; similar to the one I posted, but in black & white...

It is beautiful.

Somehow it looks sadder, in black and white.

Sometimes, it's a black and white world.

I miss black and white photography.

I sometimes turn our color digital photos black and white just to see what they look like. It's not always an improvement, but it's interesting to see how different the light looks.

Hey Spd. That day day was just like today. Except the billowing clouds in the sky... I remember it being clear as anything. The sky was clear blue and beautiful; unlike anything I'd ever seen.

I should probably post this to my own blog, but given that mine is just weird and yours is good... I am somehow compelled to share this.

My neighbor's husband was one of the rescuers at ground zero. He shortly lost it afterward. He became abusive, and was asked to leave the home. He left a home of infant triplets, an older toddler and a Mother on her own.

He went to a neighboring community, but didn't hold up his end on child support, he lost it. He was diagnosedn with ptsd and told not to return to the house.

Honestly, I don't know how many people have been traumatized or indirectly affected by what happened that day. All I know is that I now have four kids, along with their mother, who are homeless.

I am not their social worker, but my daughter's best friend may be leaving the school district, depending on where Homeless Solutions does with them. They will do their best, but they are just a few more victims, those that go unseesn, of what happened on 9/11. The numbers, when you look at it, are countless. Those attacks hurt us more than we can ever know.
