Bobtailing It Into Oblivion

It has occured to me that both weblogs and the Bush administration have become the new century's equivalent of the CB-radio.
All tractor.
No trailer.

These are interesting times.

Both Bush and Blogging would be better if you had a monkey as a side kick.

I hate monkeys but I do think a litte CB lingo now and again is one of the little things that make life worth living.

Pile out.

If I had a monkey, I'd share it with you guys.
Right now I've got nothing but the blues.
Where's the comedy?
I could use some comedy,

C'mon spd, don't lose your sense of humor now. Watching the real West Wing is as good as a night at the Improv...neither one is performing with a script.

"You know, she's a very gracious and funny person," said Joshua B. Bolten, the director of the Office of Management and Budget whom Ms. Miers succeeded as deputy White House chief of staff in 2003. "I was racking my brain trying to think of something specific."

In the next breath, Mr. Bolten recalled relaxing with her at Camp David. "She is a very good bowler," he said. "For someone her size, she actually gets a lot of action out of the pins."

Oh my....

Ladies and Gentlemen, The Honorable Associate Justice Harriet "Kegler" Miers.

Karl Rove is in a lot of trouble for allegedly leaking the name of a CIA operative. Remember the good old days when the only thing leaking in the White House was President Clinton?
:)

More?

A state court issued an arrest warrant today for Rep. Tom DeLay, requiring him to appear in Texas for booking on conspiracy and money laundering charges. This is the most embarrassing thing to happen to the Republicans since yesterday.

You're cracking me up.
Stop it.

Too much? OK, here's one for the choir:

Republican majority leader Tom DeLay was indicted and was stripped of his congressional leadership powers. When asked what it feels like to lose all his power, DeLay said, 'I feel like a Democrat."

Better?

Much.

I'm on a roll....

We're learning more and more about Tom Delay. He was nicknamed, 'Hot Tub Tom,' got kicked out of Baylor for drinking, and became a wild party animal who drank 10 martinis a night, or as they call it in Washington, a Kennedy.

Hey, that's the first positive thing I've ever heard about Ted.
