A Christmas List

So long as I'm dreaming, I might as well do it in color.

What color would like that Ducati?

Blood wine red.
The only color any self-respecting Italian vehicle should ever carry as its livery.

A wad of dough, a bottle of Brunello di Montalcino, and thou, my beloved Ducati, alone, in the garage, pure and naked, as God meant us to be.
Perfect.

Vrooom.

I'll get you that little beach house, if...if a few others will pitch in with me.

You'll always be invited over!

I'd love to chip in Pile but I'm tapped out after buying the "blood wine red" Ducati, and the bottle of Brunello to make it so. I suggest you hit up KJ to help with the down payment--Am Law is predicting record profits per partner this year--and ask Cass to volunteer her services to wire the damn place.

Now, who's going to take care of the "Sophia" stocking stuffer?

"Sophia" is meant to serve as the icon for that intangible, incomprehensible, irresitable personal allure that lights a man's soul and serves as his constant inspiration. All women have it, some show just show it off better than others. But absent that "thing," that special wink of nature, man would be as barren as the poles.

Here's to a woman, to all women, knowing that as a woman, she creates a man.

I'm afraid I'm not that kind of tech wench, Portia: hardware isn't really my area. But one thing you do learn in this field is that you can pick up anything quickly. I once had to order all the parts for, network, and rig a small computer lab and managed not to humiliate myself. So for a friend, any thing.

Once more with feeling....

Okay, so between me and Cass we have the "Sophia" thing more than covered:)

What's left? Ramones lunch box? Done. I'll slap a Ramones album cover over my nephews Power Rangers lunch box, and you'll be "Hey! Ho! Let's go" cool. Next? Ah, the Brooklyn Bridge. An irresistible, tangible icon that speaks of promise, as well as a "connection" between two shores. Like Sophia, it can be neither bought nor sold though not for want of trying. If I could, I would.... As Will Rogers said, "I'd a lot rather be the man who bought the Brooklyn Bridge than the man who sold it."

Merry Christmas everyone.
